The bend don't break is leaving something to desire but the offensive ceiling here seems to be up there with the top 2-3 teams if all things are clicking. The question is if the defense can fall into place.

While it has taken them late in each of their P4 games to truly put the contest out of reach, that offense has been electric and the defense has been quite solid, if a little overlooked in effectiveness. What holds Bama back despite a top-3 SOR from higher up is them getting into dogfights for most of the game before finally putting it away, although that win over Kentucky still looks quite impressive (if not as good as last week). Keep winning and that October 10th matchup against uGA will be can't miss television.

Well, for one game after that poll, they utterly dominated a struggling P4 team to the point where SCAR started to implode internally. Russell played his best game yet and the sky is the limit for this Crimson Tide iteration, can they put it all together? Williams had his best game in a long time and they’re finally running the ball!

At Mississippi State next week is looking much tougher than it did pre-season and is a potential slip-up before the Georgia clash, so there needs to be a repeated performance from start to finish.

_THE__BOULDER_	7	Even though the Gamecocks are a mess, Alabama looks really good. They had a great defensive showing against Kentucky, showed offensive resilience against FSU, and looked pretty complete against South Carolina this past weekend. Their passing game had a year's worth of yards, Keelon Russell was 21/27 on the day with 4 TDs. Alabama had some efficient running from EJ Crowell and 5 receptions from Ryan Coleman-Williams for 98 yards and 2 TDs. The offense seems to be improving from game to game, and it's important they keep this trend going as they have Miss St this week and Georgia on October 10th, not to mention Tennessee on October 17th. I cannot wait to see if all 3 of these games live up to the hype and if Alabama can make it through this stretch of games unscathed.
