Disregardskarma 1 Obvious number one. Manhandled a ranked opponent that as of right now seems to be a contender for it's conference. The Big QB question is answered, and the defense is better than we thought.

G-manP 1 The defense looks incredible, may have the potential to be better than last years. Jalen Hurts, the true freshman QB, started off with a few quirks, but quickly hit stride as he proved why he will be the new starter.

monkeymatt1836 1 Roll Tide Roll. After being down 3-0 in the second quarter the Tide valiantly fought back and edged the Trojans 52-6. Despite a slow start the Tide easily took care of business. Freshman QB Jalen Hurts made his debut and looked pretty promising. Hurts went 6/11 for 118 yards 1 TD and 1 INT. Blake Barnett was 5/6 for 100 yards and 1 TD in a solid outing. Bama once again looked like the crown jewel of the SEC once they worked the kinks out. I guess USC shouldn't have left Lane Kiffin sitting on the tarmac.
monotonemr 1 Seriously it can't be legal to have that many head coaches at once

MrTheSpork 1 I don't even think I need to explain. Alabama's damn good. I don't expect them to fall out of the top five this year.

SpeedxKills 1 After a first week bye, the defending national champions get their first action against WKU. Should be interesting to see how sharp and focused they are after such an usually long layover. Who will start at QB? Bateman, Barrnett, Hurts? And will they be ready to take the reigns? Who does the running game replace Derrick Henry? Is the defense going to play up to the potential we think they have? Should be interesting to finally have all these questions answered week 2. The CFB has been waiting. Seriously, who takes a bye week 1 anyway? You crazy Saban...

swodaem2005 1 Alabama was my preseason number one ranked team, and there were very few red flags Week 1.  The defense appeared elite, and the offense ultimately produced efficiently following rocky starts by Barnett and Hurts.
T-Thugs 1 Dominant performance over USC. Still rolling. Yikes.

TheFlyingBoat 1 Alabama was dominant over USC. Jalen Hurts was one of the star true freshman of the opening weekend, operating incredibly well behind Alabama's respectable OL. Minkah Fitzpatrick lived up to my preseason expectations, and the WR corps of Alabama proved to be deadly as usual. Not much to say, other than Alabama proved why they are #1.
