ShamusJohnson13 1 I've been rolling with the Tide since I knew I'd be going there for school, and this is probably the first time they've opened the season with such a smothering. It was practically flawless execution from the first teamers against a team I expected some first game hiccups against. There were none, and that's terrifying to whoever is hoping this might be a down year for the Tide.

Alabama drops a couple spots not because they did anything wrong, but because of what Georgia and Ohio State did against much tougher competition than Utah State. The Crimson Tide are still coached by Nick Saban, still likely to find their way back to No. 1 on my ballot soon enough and still the rightful favorite to win it all this season. We'll let Georgia and Ohio State have this week.
