Wisconsin did what Wisconsin traditionally does against an inferior opponent: run the ball down their throat and stifle them on defense. The Badgers had some explosive plays, the defense didn't miss a beat despite several key departures and QB Graham Mertz looked better than he did at almost any point in 2021. It was only an FCS foe, but some encouraging signs for Wisconsin.
