FAU scored on a massive pass in the first quarter to make it seem that they may have some bite, and scored a second time after an interception in Wisconsin's Red Zone. After that however, Wisconsin seemed to wake up and hold FAU very well defensively for the rest of the game.

However, Wisconsin struggled to finish drives, resulting in an underwhelming final scoreline. The Badgers' season hinges on which of these two trends persists throughout the year.

A tougher game at BYU may show where Wisconsin stands this season.
