BunnySelfDestruct 4 Probably the class of the B1G, but the B1G East is a very chaotic place. No guarantees they don't drop 2 conference games.
captain_sasquatch 4
CarbonCamaroZL1 4 +2 spots (previously 6). 2-0. Penn State handled their rival Pitt rightfully so. Barkley continues his hardcore rushing and receiving with 2 touchdowns. Definitely a contender for the playoffs if they were to start this week.

Fifth_Down 4 I would like to see PSU play some stronger opponents before declaring them the best team in the B1G right now. But based on the results of the last two weeks it's starting to look that way.
Foxmcbowser42 4 I do not see this team dropping out of the top 4 the rest of the season, they have looked utterly dominate, and their two toughest opponents have had more questions raised than answered.

ryker888 4 PSU has looked great in the last two weeks, beat an outmatched Pitt but was very impressive in their win. Looks like the best of the Big10 after OSU went down

Ticklebump 4 Nice win against Pitt, who is no slouch. That's what you expect to see from a top 10 team and Barkley keeps looking good.

xelphin 4 Just barely relinquishes one spot to OU due to the fact they beat an unranked Pitt vs a top 10 Ohio State, despite it being a very hard-fought rivalry game. This game was played at Happy Valley, and PSU only allowed a TD in the 4th quarter after bringing their lead to 28-6.

Cobainism 5 Honestly, # 3-5 are very, very close at this point. The Nittany Lions are absolutely for real, and could very well be the current favorites to win the B1G conference

noahthearc 5 Another team that managed to beat down their rivals this week, the Nittany Lions seems as good as a year ago. With the Big Ten giants Ohio State going down, Penn State seems the slight favorites at the moment to take the conference again.

stripes361 5 A week after praising Trace McSorley's accuracy, Penn State's QB looked off all day against Pat Narduzzi's defense. Perhaps the Pitt coach just knew how to rattle McSorley, or perhaps the rivalry jitters got to him. Regardless, James Franklin's team will need better performances out of him if they wish to repeat as B1G champions. With a bunch of loaded teams rounding out the Top 10, Penn State will start falling in my rankings if the offensive hiccups continue.

TheFlyingBoat 5 Penn St is still riding high off their Rose Bowl loss. Still in wait and see mode for me until Michigan/tOSU. It sucks their schedule is such they play nobody until October 21st. Also, dear /r/CFB, no matter what happens, Iowa isn't a good team. Book it.

jmac_21 7 Early on Penn State look like they were going to easily handle their in state rivals Pitt. Pitt made the game somewhat competitive, but I still like everything about these Nittany Lions.

WhiteBaseCoat 9 Oh look, a team that would actually be in the top 10 in any respectable ranking. Akron's no good but Pitt should be a solid team - I'd put that win in the same general boat as SCar's over NC State and Missouri win, but again, SCar has two of them.

T-Thugs 10 Another dominant showing for Penn State, although I don't think Pittsburgh is very good. We won't really see what Penn State is made of until they play Michigan 10/21.
