calidoc 1 Still the reigning champs. Will be #1 until given a reason to be otherwise. In week two, looked good against a good Auburn defense.

TheOrangeKush81 2 I reckon the tigers have the best defense in CFB by a mile.
Ticklebump 2 Convincing win against Auburn. I don't know what it will take for me to bump Clemson to #1 but I'm very unlikely, outside of a loss, to drop them from #2.

xelphin 2 Retains their spot and maybe moves a little closer to stealing Bama's spot after holding Auburn to 2 Field Goals while scoring 2 TD's. This game was at home and was in no way a blowout, but both teams are good and it will be interesting to see how Clemson performs next week when they play AT Louisville.

jmac_21 3 Clemson and OU were really close for me. Clemson met a solid Auburn team that had upset in their mind. Clemson met the challenged and held them off, I only have them at 3 because I don't believe in their offense just yet.

ryker888 3 The defense completely baffled Auburn's O-line with 11 sacks.  Bryant looked better against a very good defense but this offense has a long way to go but Dabo has proved he can reload and just keep winning.

GiovanniElliston 4 Clemson is a very good football team.  I don't think we saw the best they can be against Auburn.  That being said, the reason I didn't move Clemson any higher is the win was less impressive than Ohio State or USC - and I'm not sold on Auburn being a top-15 team to begin with.
gohuskies 4 Dabo might be okay at coaching.
hokies220 4 Best win out of the ACC/B1G

mjacksongt 4 Defense looked great! Offense did not. This team will be interesting to watch. They have the best DL in college football...and I don't think it's particularly close.

noahthearc 4 Clemson continues to win after their title winning campaign last year. They handled their tiger rivals well in a defensive showdown and can't be counted out. The ACC seems like theirs for the time being.

Rainbow_Beefcake 4 Their offense worries me. I don't know if it's not that great, or if Auburn's defense is just that good. Either way, they're the Attacking national champs and they have a front four that makes me tremble just watching from home. The ranking between them and USC is a coin toss. I don't know if they can score enough, but I also don't know how Darnold would fare against Clemosn's behemoth of a pass rush.

stripes361 4 Clemson had one of the best statement wins of the season so far, befuddling a Gus Malzahn offense that looked completely outmatched. Kelly Bryant played better than the 14 Clemson points would indicate and should continue to grow throughout the season. If he can progress as expected, Clemson will be a true playoff contender...as long as they can beat Louisville next week.
swanky-k 4
taloncarde 4
TheFlyingBoat 4 Still don't think Kelly is the real deal, but the rest of Clemson looks great and we'll see how they do against Louisville. Wouldn't be surprised if Louisville pulls of the upset in a shootout (can they make it one against Clemson's D though?). Kelly can't keep up in one if it happens imo. I'll bump them over Penn St due to them picking up a good win against Auburn. Their D is undeniably stout.

WhiteBaseCoat 4 You could certainly make the argument that Clemson's win against Auburn is better than USC's against Stanford, I'm just worried about Auburn's offense to the extent that I trust Stanford a little more. Plus, WMU is better than Kent State, so USC gets some points for that win. If we want to take this even farther, then you can consider that Stanford beat up on Rice, who in turn put away a lesser opponent in UTEP; Auburn beat up on Georgia Southern, who proceeded to take a bad loss against an FCS team. A good FCS team, mind you, but I feel like the chain looks a little better for USC than it does for Clemson.

GilBrandt 5 Squeaked out a win over Auburn at home. Based off how I rank other teams, I feel like I should have Clemson lower, but I believe Auburn is a good team. I also believe Clemson can stay in the top 5 teams if not top 10 at least.
