Charlemagne42 1 (83 + 24 -> 107; 28 -> 1) The model really really hates the ACC. And I don't blame it. The conference's signature OOC wins are over Texas A&M, UCF, and North Carolina. Just for fun, I aggregated conference "rankings" according to the model; ignoring the Ivy for reasons noted above, the ACC fits squarely between the American below and the Mountain West above. It's the only P5 conference rated below a G5 conference. (+0 from last week)

ShamusJohnson13 1 The Clemson Tigers are really good team, but they're not light years in front of the pack anymore. They take my top spot not because of what they did, but rather that LSU allowed Vandy to score 38 points. Otherwise, despite a defense that is not at the level it was last season and Trevor Lawrence's step back, this team is a monster still.

steelcitygator 1 I mean at this point I don't have much to say about spots 1 and 2.  Alabama will probably finish as #1 if they win out just because they will have a tougher schedule but nothing has changed about the 1a/1b situation from last year.

TheJeemTeam 1 1/1 in Tier A: Ya, only team here. They've been the #1 team according to my computer every week, and they've been in a Tier by themselves every week except once. Not likely to be challenged much the rest of the regular season, but it's still college football, so there's always the possibility of a shock upset.

hokies220 3 Ho hum time to murder the ACC. Yawn.
hypercube42342 3 Clemson falls into the 3 spot mainly because of A&M's loss to Auburn (as well as removal of preseason expectations from my ballot), which harms Clemson's claim to the best win of the season. A&M looked just as lost on offense against Auburn as they did against Clemson. And outside of them, Clemson has beaten nobody even remotely of note. -2
