_Brazenhead_ 1 Struggled early with Syracuse, but it was a road game and Syracuse just simply plays well against Clemson. The final score was enough of a blow out to keep them in the top spot over Alabama.

moistats_ 1 Convincingly won against all P5 opponents to date, especially the blowout at Syracuse. Is the clear winner of the ACC, and the only other ranked team in the conference is Virginia. In comparison to the rest of the top 4, they have the most talent and experienced management for the best chance of being national champions.

peachios 1 Just balled out against a team that seemed decent against them in years past. Surely seems Clemson will stroll through to the end unless a mega upset happens. Honestly their SoS might be not the best if not for TAMU

soonersthebetter 1 Clemson has beaten two conference opponents and a good SEC team. They don't have the best win of the season, but they haven't shown any reason to move them from the #1 spot.

stripes361 1 Still keeping the Tigers at #1 despite trailing Alabama in the metrics that form the backbone of my rankings. I'm not wedded to the idea of "keeping the champion #1 until they lose" but Alabama has some injury issues which may cause serious issues down the road and I don't think Clemson has played to their potential yet. This is certainly up for change in future weeks, however, and not just after a Clemson loss.

T-nawtical 1
T-Thugs 1 Add a blowout of Syracuse to their list. Clemson is 3-0 with wins over Georgia Tech, Syracuse, and Texas A&M. Best win is Texas A&M.

iliketoupvotepuns 2 The ACC looks baaaaaad. To be honest, outside of Clemson, the Mountain West(or Mountain Best, if you prefer) looks better than the ACC does, and maybe even the American too. But bad conferences aside, Clemson is a goooood football team and will cruise into the playoff assuming an unthinkable upset doesn't happen. That said, Clemson does look weaker to me than last year.
