Blazeth 1 Texas, Oklahoma and LSU are probably top 25 teams in the long run, but based on the results so far I thought ranking them didn't make much sense at the end of my poll.

djowen68 1 I didn't rank teams who haven't played a game yet. I'll slot them in accordingly as their seasons begin next month. I tried to balance how good I think a team is vs. how many wins it has. Pitt has 3 wins which is worth something, but I don't think they'd beat any of the top teams. I dropped LSU and Oklahoma due to not having any wins. (I don't really count FCS wins, sorry OU). Mississippi State is probably way too high, but they looked pretty scary and beat a talented team. If this poll looks like a mess, it probably is. It's a tough year to try to rank teams.

JoshDaws 1 With the shortened spring and summer practices teams are going to rely on consistency, both in systems and in players. Younger players learning new systems are going to be at a significant disadvantage, where as a team that only lost a few starters, played in the Naty last year, and is returning some of the best coordinators in the country is going to excel. They have 2 hurdles in the form of Miami (of Florida) and Notre Dame, but should handle them and if they do have a pretty easy schedule otherwise.

kamiller2020 1 Of all the teams that have played so far, Clemson by far looks the most complete. Trevor Lawrence is just as good as normal, but Travis Etienne has really been the guy that stands out on the Clemson offense for me. I knew he was great, I didn't realize how explosive he really was until this year. The defense is great, but I want to see how they do against a team with some capability of consistently moving the ball. Still, by far the #1 team right now.

T-Thugs 6 Clemson is 2-0 with a couple blowouts over Wake and Citadel. They play Miami on 10/10 and that's a good chance for them to claim the top spot.
