CFBHurts 1 Alabama and Clemson are an easy top 2, with Alabama getting the nod due to a slightly better overall performance in the competitive portions of their win over Missouri than Clemson in their win over Wake Forest.

kamiller2020 2 While the offense will be the story, and rightfully so. This Alabama defense looks so much better then the last few units Saban has put out. If this defense is healthy, Alabama will be playing for a national title. Missouri couldn't move the ball at all when the game actually mattered. Also, Ruggs looked amazing. Wait...that was Waddle?? Fuck off Bama and your elite tier WRs. Last note on Bama: Bryce Young will be really good, give him time to develop. I don't think thrusting him into the starting role this year will be best for him. I know most of you agree with me, but this is for the vocal minority.

steelcitygator 2 Similar to Clemson, never in doubt against Missouri but didn't look quite as dominant though Missouri is probably a better team than Wake Forest.

JoshDaws 3 Is this the end of the Saban era? No. I think they have a real chance to slip up this season given the strength of their competition (Not You TAMU that made Vandy look like a semi competent football team), covid weirdness, and a young quarterback. but until they do they can hang out here. They haven't been really tested yet, which is why I'm not giving them bonus spots, but they can move up as the season progresses and if they play as well against better teams.

T-Thugs 7 Started the season off with a 38-19 victory over Missouri. Hard to know how much beating Missouri means, but they play Texas A&M next week so should have an early opportunity to rise higher in poll.
