The Crimson Tide are always a contender from year-to-year and, until the schedule gets more difficult, these games will continue to be won in resounding fashion.

lowes18	13	Alabama won a game on the road against Kentucky that was a lot more ugly on paper than the scoreboard suggests. Alabama struggled mightily to effectively move the ball for much of the game, really only hanging on through defensive scores. I am still not sold that Alabama's roster is elite, or even good enough to win more than 8 games with this schedule, but Keelon Russell is showing that he can be good enough to drag Alabama to ugly wins and ugly wins still count.

Alabama was down 17-13 at the half, and then proceeded to blank Kentucky in the second half and score 32 more points, all of this was in Lexington as well. A solid win for the Crimson Tide in the end, despite some first-half mishaps, including 2 interceptions and a fumble. They will need to be careful with ball security next week, or else they might come out of Tuscaloosa with a very ugly win against FSU (I'm highly doubting Bama loses at home) and end up looking like SMU.
