1 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia is my #1 this week purely because I'm unconvinced Texas deserves the spot after the barroom brawl that occurred last night.
2 Texas Longhorns Well, they did it. Offense looks scrappy, but the defense looks up to the task of a top-3 team.
3 Miami Hurricanes Nothing is telling me to doubt this team. Play from both sides looks great to start; we'll see how Wake Forest does in Miami's first "real" challenge.
4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish After last year's disappointments, this team looks ready to compete for a Natty. Not a fan of the lackluster SOS, though.
5 Ohio State Buckeyes They're really the #1 team in the country, but I can't reason with putting them above any of the top 4 after the loss last night.
6 Indiana Hoosiers The team is slightly overrated, but early-season results have looked good.
7 LSU Tigers Don't think they'll survive undefeated over these next two weeks, but the offense looks ready to push. Just keep an eye on the QB situation as we progress.
8 Texas A&M Aggies Great start. I haven't been able to catch any of their games, but the box scores look promising. I'll keep an eye on them and watch some highlights soon.
9 Alabama Crimson Tide I'm cautioning against moving this team any higher right now. Another slightly overrated team in my mind, but decent wins against East Car and Kentucky to start.
10 Ole Miss Rebels This team looks to be one that gets hot and cold; we'll see. I have my doubts about Ole Miss.
11 USC Trojans Is this the year we finally start believing in SC? Defense will need to hold up.
12 BYU Cougars This offense looks scary good off the bat. Watch out for them to be a dark-horse natty contender.
13 Texas Tech Red Raiders Houston next week will be key.
14 Tennessee Volunteers This team is scary good coming off big wins against Furman and G Tech. I like them a lot this year.
15 Penn State Nittany Lions I'm very much buying into this revamped Penn State team despite their early struggles against Temple.
16 Utah Utes A statement win against Arkansas! I'm hyped for this Utah team.
17 SMU Mustangs Florida St. looks to be an outlier, but I am cautious about where I put SMU. We'll see how Louisville shapes up next week.
18 Boise State Broncos I love this Boise State team despite Oregon's recent fall. I think they have a lot to look forward to this season.
19 Florida Gators This team is dangerous. The whole SEC should be put on watch.
20 Houston Cougars A high-quality win against Ore State and an offensive and defensive showcase against Southern has me feeling great about Houston in the T-20.
21 Iowa Hawkeyes This Iowa team isn't as great as in previous years, but leaving them out of the top 25 doesn't feel right. Don't doubt this defense.
22 Western Michigan Broncos Two statement wins** in back-to-back weeks. I feel great about these guys moving forward.
23 Michigan Wolverines Well, they won against a top-15 team, so they should be here.
24 Oklahoma Sooners This is still a GOOD CFB team that will prob make the CFP.
25 Louisville Cardinals My wildcard 25 pick this week is Louisville. A very close game against top-10 Ole Miss and a statement win against Villanova. This team is firing on the offense and will be scary in the ACC.
