| elnino550 | 2 | They didn't do anything to be knocked-off the number one spot in my rankings, they have beaten up 2 cupcake teams more than their expected win total. I do believe this roster is elite on both sides of the ball, the issue is their schedule is a complete joke and will they really be tested until the Notre Dame game in November. |

| Justanother_0 | 2 | A weaker resume for the Canes knocks them out of my #1 spot. Given that they don’t play Notre Dame until late this year, they probably won’t be able to play their way into that spot until then. |

| Conn3er | 3 | This may be the best offense in the country. Mensa scholar QB with Toney on the outside and a whole slew of other weapons that were good enough to tie for the 2nd in most offensive yards in a CFB game despite having a shortened 4th quarter. |
| cvsprinter1 | 3 | |
| Doogitywoogity | 3 | Miami has only played Stanford and FAMU. That’s the only critique to have against them at the moment. Mensah and Toney look great. And my hot take is Stanford is not going to be as bad as they were last year. That will be put to the test vs Duke. For their own schedule, Wake that barely survived Purdue this past weekend isn’t great. We’ll see if they move down depending on how their SOR evolves or if they stumble on easy teams. Realistically with this schedule they should only have ND to worry about. |

| Pyromania1983 | 3 | Had Miami third last week, and keep them there again. Their 77-7 win on Thursday night was expected, but the fashion was still dominant. They have two more easy matchups coming up before conference play starts. The Hurricanes look primed for that part of their schedule. |

| TheUltimate721 | 4 | Miami's strength of schedule is so weak that is frankly hard to justify putting them any further ahead. They've taken care of business against the opponents you should, but they somehow avoid all of the good teams in the ACC this year so the only real test they are going to get in the regular season is Notre Dame. |

| lowes18 | 6 | Miami largely hit the same notes against Florida A&M that I felt when they played Stanford. Miami has an elite passing offense, with some questions about the efficiency of the running game (especially in their ability to hit big plays on the ground), and some disappointment with the performance of the high level pass rushers they brought in through the portal. If those defensive ends were just waiting to get serious for their first actual opponent, they will have the opportunity to show it this weekend against Wake, if not the drop off in pass rush could become the key concern for Miami moving forward. |
