moistats_ 9 Miami is killing it. They'll need to show it against a big time opponent, so they probably will be around here for a while. Expect the match at Virginia in three weeks to be relatively competitive.

Miami_da_U 11 the football Gods have answered our prayers as it FINALLY looks like Mark Richt is going to make the change at Qb (from Rosier to Nkosi Perry!) every single Miami fan has been hoping for since last season. Don't let the final score and MOV fool you, Miami dominated FIU on Saturday and while the 1st unit was in the score was 31-0 and FIU was held to 2 yards or less on just about every play the first 3 quarters. The reason the score was close is because they were playing all their Freshman and 3rd/4th stringers in the 4th quarter to get them experience for later in the season when they may be needed due to injuries (something the coaches said they failed at last season). Perry provided that Spark offensively that Miami has been missing, and he looked very good and is a way more talented passer than Rosier, and he did it all without his 2 best WRs - Ahmmon Richards who is still out since the LSU game, and Jeff Thomas who sat out for dehydration after his PRTD got called back. Its an exciting time to be a Miami fan without Rosier as the QB.

TheJeemTeam 12 4/5 in Tier G: Quality loss to LSU, but by 16 pts. Have looked relatively unimpressive otherwise as well

GenialGiant 13 Miami's win over FIU was far more dominant than the final score indicates; they rise in part due to this and also because of three losses above them.

woakley 15 Miami beat FIU by a sold margin (as they should have). Their move back up is mostly due to the losses in front of them, but i'll feel much better about the Canes if Perry stays the starter down there.

scotsworth 18
stripes361 18 Just like Clemson, Miami has an evolving situation at quarterback. It could end up being a distraction but ultimately it has the potential to kick the team into its highest gear and lead them to another year of Coastal Division glory. The 31-17 final scoreline against FIU this week belies a dominant performance which saw the Hurricanes rack up a 488-187 advantage in total yards and a 27-7 margin in first downs. FIU's points all came in the game's final 7 minutes.
