noahthearc Ballot for 2018 Week 5

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 23, 2018, 8:21 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide No Change.
Georgia Bulldogs No Change.
Clemson Tigers No Change.
LSU Tigers No Change.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish +2 spots. The offense came alive this week and Notre Dame looked a lot more formidable.
Stanford Cardinal +4 spots. Another quality win (although USC doesn't seem like one anymore).
Ohio State Buckeyes -2 spots. Big test this week against Penn State in Happy Valley.
Penn State Nittany Lions No Change.
West Virginia Mountaineers No Change. Mountaineers rolled past a decent Kansas State team. Their overall resume is better than Oklahoma and they look better after this week.
Oklahoma Sooners -4 spots. An overtime struggle with Army in Norman won't buy you any style points.
Auburn Tigers No Change.
Kentucky Wildcats Debut. Kentucky continues to impress and grow in confidence. They took down a strong Mississippi State team last week. Could they be a real threat to Georgia in the East?
Washington Huskies +3 spots. The Huskies won a tough game with Herm's new look Sun Devils. Moving up as others fall.
UCF Knights +3 spots. Following the Huskies, UCF pushes their win streak to 16 and moves up.
BYU Cougars +4 spots. Easy week while others fell down.
Miami Hurricanes +2 spots. Miami handled FIU even if the final score looked close.
Duke Blue Devils +4 spots. The Coastal is open for grabs and Duke wants to get back to the ACC CG.
Wisconsin Badgers +2 spots. Surviving in Kinnick Stadium is never easy.
California Golden Bears Debut. Their resume slid under the radar and I just noticed this week. Sorry guys.
Colorado Buffaloes +4 spots. The bye week of dreams for the Buffs.
NC State Wolfpack +4 spots. Went into the mountains and came back with a win.
Michigan Wolverines Debut. Michigan punished Nebraska.
Mississippi State Bulldogs -10 spots. Tough road loss, but the Bulldogs are still a strong team and will look to straighten out this week.
Texas Tech Red Raiders Debut. Surprise of the week? The Red Raiders went to Stillwater and put a hurtin' on the Cowboys.
Texas Longhorns Debut. Big win over TCU, only the second since the Horned Frogs joined the conference. Texas is trending and will want to win before their meetup with Oklahoma.
