hokies220 8 If Army had managed to pull the upset Duke would've retained their top 4 spot. As it is though they're probably the favorite to win the Coastal now.

W_Is_For_Will 9 Undefeated, is Duke good this year? They've beaten some interesting teams, maybe this is my true "Boston College" ACC sleeper team.
YellowSkarmory 9 Road wins against 3-1 and 1-2 teams, and home wins against 2-2 and FCS teams. Not quite enough to get past Kentucky though with their MOV being kinda weak.

T-Thugs 11 Duke is undefeated with wins over Army (who just took Oklahoma to overtime), Baylor, and Northwestern. Might be a little high, but their resume is decent. They play Virginia tech this week.

Charlemagne42 12 499, +0, 499; Part of my philosophy while I'm in hybrid mode is to leave scores unchanged when I can't find a compelling reason to change them. Duke may seem overrated here, but they beat multiple P5 opponents out of conference and looked good doing it.

Blooblod 13 Duke wouldn't have moved up in in a vacuum--it was the losses by Mississippi State, TCU, Oklahoma State, and Boston College, that moved them up so much. Last week: 17

TheJeemTeam 16 3/3 in Tier H: Most unimpressive 4-0 team in the country in my opinion. Would put them at the fringes of the rankings if I did a human poll, but this is the lowest I can put them based on my hybrid methodology.
tmart12 16
311polo 17 They've played pretty much no one. That NW win doesn't look as good. But they are winning pretty comfortably.  The ACC could really use them going undefeated except against Clemson.

woakley 17 Duke has one of the more solid resumes in college football so far. Its not enough to get them into the top 15, but the Blue Devils are a team to watch as the season progresses. Virginia Tech will be a good test for them this week

Miami_da_U 21 ACC is not looking so hot, but Dukes undefeated though they haven't done much. They've got it pretty easy until november when they play Miami and Clemson. They've easily beat their opponents though including an Army team that just took Oklahoma to OT. David Cutcliffe is a good coach and usually has them playing well. However they aren't nearly as talented as teams ranked higher then them, which is a big disadvantage.

vanburen1845 22 An old man at an ND game watch told me a story about doing shots of Southern Comfort whenever we scored in a duke game (I think it was the 64-0 1966 game). The story didn't have a point; he just wanted to share. The bar was at a 6 and he was at 11.
