YellowSkarmory 15 Wins over 2 2-2 teams, 1 on the road and a blowout win over a 1-3 team on the road, along with a home blowout win against an FCS team gets them above UCF. Not quite enough to get past WVU though.
hokies220 16 Buffalo was already a top 30 team in my poll last week, so beating down Rutgers on the road caused them to jump up a bit, even though we all know Rutgers is terrible I'm ok with giving the Bulls some recognition for starting 4-0.

W_Is_For_Will 17 Undefeated and beat a Rutgers. My 5 year old niece could call plays and beats Rutgers though.

moistats_ 18 I hope my poll doesn't become controversial because of this pick. I personally think Buffalo looks much stronger than USF, Cincy, or UCF. Buffalo embarrassed Rutgers away, and they have stronger wins now that I look deeper into it. UCF has yet to show a strong win against a strong team, Cincinnati is the same case as well, and USF is struggling to win. I think they have what it takes to beat Army. Also, they have several players on award watch lists, much more than the aforementioned three.

Charlemagne42 19 355, +82, 437; With a win over ostensibly-P5 Rutgers, and a transitive win over Texas (via Temple and Maryland), Buffalo has the best claim among G5 teams of being "back, folks". Note that since this is the week with the highest ratio of completed OOC games to completed conference games, it's the worst week in the model for G5 teams. This is because P5 conferences tend to beat G5 conferences, making G5 schedules appear weaker. Next week, some strong P5 teams will have losses, while the good G5 teams keep on a steady climb up the rankings, filling spots vacated by losing P5 teams. The model's bonus for being undefeated will keep the 2017 UCFs of the world in the conversation with the big boys.

Knightro2011 19 We need some MACtion to start because I don't think Buffalo's defense will hold up. That is what is keeping them up this high as well as being undefeated.
VerySeriousBanana 19 Gored Rutgers on the road.
