TheOrangeKush81 Ballot for 2018 Week 5

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 25, 2018, 2:43 a.m.

Overall Rationale: I fell asleep working on my ballot late at night last week. Sorry about that. My methodology is simple. The best teams are the most likely to beat any given team, and the worst teams are the most likely to lose. By the way: sometimes the better team loses.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide
Georgia Bulldogs
Clemson Tigers Last week, in my unfinished ballot I had clemson at 5, but with the qb situation resolved the only "weakness" is the secondary, which I think only georgia and bama have the requisite talent to exploit
Ohio State Buckeyes
LSU Tigers
Oklahoma Sooners I had them at 3 until the army game.
Penn State Nittany Lions
Auburn Tigers
Washington Huskies
Stanford Cardinal
West Virginia Mountaineers
Texas A&M Aggies The dropoff from alabama to here is insane. But, in my opinion, the top 6 or so teams tend to be a degree of magnitude better than the next 6. atm not being ranked proves pollsters only look at final scores, and are incapable of complex analysis of football. Basically, they're pretty talented, and now they have jumbo, but it shouldn't be a surprise they got railed by an NFL team
UCF Knights
Miami Hurricanes
Oregon Ducks
Kentucky Wildcats
Wisconsin Badgers
Mississippi State Bulldogs
Michigan State Spartans
Notre Dame Fighting Irish They played ball state and vandy close. That's not to mention that michigan is probably the single most overrated team in the major polls
California Golden Bears
BYU Cougars
Texas Longhorns I'm quite hesitant to rank these guys, they've burned us all before
Duke Blue Devils I don't think either duke or syracuse is better than the fighting herms, but I figured they both deserved some love <3
Syracuse Orange
