frumious88 15 I've said elsewhere that I think Mark Richt is someone who can recruit/coach at a great level and not at an elite level. He definitely  improved Miami and consistent brought in top 20 classes but it appeared he hit his ceiling. It is now up to the new coach to bring Miami back to prominence

Ticklebump 21 I am going to preface this with a "I don't know, it's the Coastal." I think Miami is a bad pick here. The Canes will have played, in my opinion, their biggest games of the season before October is half done. If they can win all of these, Florida, UVA, and VT, they have a bit of a late season scare or two with Pitt and FSU, but they could cruise to the ACC championship game. In past years, GT and Duke would be bigger threats, but the Jackets having to rebuild and transition their offense and Duke losing a star QB, I just think a lot of the bite seems to be taken out of the chaos division.
BigBoutros 22 Coastal Chaos Part 2. New head coach Manny Diaz has had a busy camp preparing for the CFB season's earliest game, especially in juggling his QB room. He's settled on redshirt freshman Jarren Williams over N'Kosi Perry and Tathan Martell, who's now taking snaps my dude at wide receiver.

ya111101 22 Record: 9-3. Manny Diaz injects life into the program and Miami bounces back to go 9-3. Despite beating Virginia Tech, conference losses to Florida State and Pittsburgh (and a non con loss to Florida) gives Virginia Tech the Coastal. Bowl Projection: Belk Bowl

crimsonlaw 24 Here's what I see happening for Miami. They don't perform well against the Gators in college football's opening weekend, so everyone gets down on them, only for the program to slowly climb the rankings the rest of the season. They get Virginia and Virginia Tech at home, their two main competitors for the Coastal division crown. Miami will field a good defense lead by a great LB corps. The big question is whether the offense can get into some sort of rhythm and capitalize on the opportunities the defense provides.
