tjstanley 9 One of the best OLs and RB corps in the country, improved secondary and D line. If Wimbush does well in Heupel's system, watch out.

GenialGiant 14 Losing Milton is obviously a massive blow to this team, but I think they can still look forward to a good 2019 season.

steelcitygator 15 Still should have made the playoffs at some point with 2 undefeated regular seasons.  I don't think they do it again but I won't drop them lower just cause I thought they would be slightly worse last year too (though the entire QB situation is unfortunate).
T-Thugs 15 Should be solid again. Hoping to see big things from Brandon Wimbush.

crimsonlaw 17 Okay, so I'm not a fan of this UCF team, but I also wasn't last year and they dominated their schedule yet again. Maybe they fall back to earth and go 8-4, but I putting them here purely because of how good they have been the last two seasons. Gotta respect what they have done. That being said, there are serious questions at QB and on defense as we enter the season, so another perfect season may be just out of reach.
DarkLegend64 17 I feel like UCF is going to drop off from their recent success soon. I don't know if it will be this season though.

ya111101 17 Record: 11-1. UCF's reign of terror over the AAC ends on October 4 when Cincinnati wins beats them in Cincinnati. Despite this, UCF still runs over the rest of their schedule, beating P5 schools Stanford and Pittsburgh. Bowl Projection: Birmingham Bowl (I couldn't find a proper pecking order for the AAC so this is my best guess)

Ticklebump 20 My lone group of 5 pick. The Knights have been 2 time undefeated. What more can you say. I rank them this low as they will be pushed by Stanford, Pitt, a hungry USF, and a Cincinnati team that was surprising last year.Could they go higher? Absolutely. Looking at other teams and the schedules they are facing, I don't think they belong in the playoff conversation unless they are undefeated and they are multiple 2 loss teams in the top 5.
Hackasizlak 21
Jakesnake42 21 UCF looks to be the premier team of G5 again this year and this time they actually get a good P5 opponent in Stanford to play. QB play will be a big question mark with Milton out.

crownebeach 22 Will run the ball like a freight train downhill; I would have had them in the top 15 with a healthy KZ Milton. Thin on defense.
Extra_Excrement 22
frumious88 22 UCF would be much higher on this list but this ranking is still factoring in their 2016 season where they finished 6-7.Their recruiting during this time period went (73rd, 69th, 55th, 56th). Obviously Nick Frost had a lot to do with this and now it is on their new coach to continue that level of play. If they can maintain that level especially if the other top florida teams struggle, UCF has a much higher ceiling that they can reach.

iliketoupvotepuns 23 UCF has been legit the last couple of years, but I think the magic of being a great Group of 5 team that finds themselves in the middle of a heated playoff debate ends this year. They'll still be good though, and are favorite to win the AAC.
