T-Thugs Ballot for 2019 Preseason

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Aug. 14, 2019, 1:55 p.m.

Overall Rationale: Preseason polls are dumb but I'm excited like everyone else so I'm filling one out. My preseason poll is based only on who I think is good based on what teams did last year and who they have coming back. It doesn't mean much since I'll be re-ranking all the teams each week based on what they've accomplished so far in the season.

Rank Team Reason
Clemson Tigers Reigning champs are stacked.
Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama played for the NC last year and is still loaded with talent.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish ND's only loss last year was to Clemson and they bring back a bunch of players from that team.
Georgia Bulldogs Jake Fromm is back and has a talented team around him. Georgia should be tough.
Ohio State Buckeyes Still have a lot of talent. Not sure the buckeyes can stay at the level they've been at without Urban Meyer.
Oklahoma Sooners Still the team to beat in the big 12.
Texas Longhorns Finished the season with a big win over Georgia. Should be fighting for the Big 12 championship and possibly a spot in the playoffs.
Florida Gators Finished the season with a whooping of Michigan. Should compete with Georgia for SEC east.
Michigan Wolverines Should win a lot of games. Harbaugh hasn't really shown the ability to beat playoff caliber teams though.
LSU Tigers
Washington Huskies
Texas A&M Aggies Aggies are spending like crazy, recruiting well. Should have a solid team.
Wisconsin Badgers Big win over Miami to finish out last year. Wisconsin should be the best team in the Big Ten west.
Oregon Ducks High expectations with Herbert coming back.
UCF Knights Should be solid again. Hoping to see big things from Brandon Wimbush.
Utah Utes Reigning Pac south champs.
Penn State Nittany Lions Need to perform better this year against OSU and Michigan.
Auburn Tigers
Iowa Hawkeyes
Boise State Broncos
Syracuse Orange
Washington State Cougars
Army West Point
Virginia Cavaliers
Michigan State Spartans
