Doogitywoogity 1 Miami impressed me the most. I don’t expect Stanford to be as bad this year, so beating them as strongly as they did is impressive. Mensah-Toney looks legit.

As above, this wasn't against southeastern middle chattenouga polytechnical a&m, but an ACC conference game. Mensah was immaculate with 401 passing yards, 90% completions, 5 TDs/0 INTs. An Early Heisman Leader.

Pyromania1983 3 Higher on this team, even with the loss Carson Beck at QB. Darian Mensah is a beast and a huge addition from Duke. With this team's schedule, and the way they looked in their first matchup, they should be locked in to a Playoff spot and potential top-5 finish by regular season's end.

redrumsoxLoL 5 Miami looked very strong against Stanford on Friday night. Darian Mensah got off to a good start on a potential Heisman campaign with this one. The manner of this victory raised them on my list a couple of spots.

lowes18 7 Miami's offense was everything preseason projections hoped for, but I found the performance of their defensive line a somewhat large red flag. Miami invested heavily in portal transfers to shore up the pass rush after the loss two top 15 picks at that position to the NFL draft. I was deeply unimpressed by the play of Damon Wilson in particular. The unit as a whole only generated a pedestrian 11% havoc rate against a Stanford o-line down three starters. Its week one, and Miami did what they were supposed to do against a p4 team, so things can improve to where preseason projections hoped that unit would be. Given the offensive performance, if the defense can step up to preseason hopes Miami could easily be a top 3-4 team.

133112 8 It would feel really good to call Stanford a "non-quality opponent", and while their Hawaii game makes me think that could be true, I'll be gracious to the ACC and call Stanford simply a lower-quality opponent.
