ALStark69 Ballot for 2026 Week 2

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Sept. 8, 2026, 9:10 a.m.

Overall Rationale: I lost my job last week so I can go in depth on my rationales haha

Rank Team Reason
1 Ohio State Buckeyes 0 change from last week; took care of business
2 Notre Dame Fighting Irish 0; woke up in the second half
3 Georgia Bulldogs +1; took care of business
4 Miami Hurricanes +1; Toney vs Smith Heisman race will be cinema
5 Texas Longhorns +2; made Texas State's good offense from last year look... not good
6 Indiana Hoosiers 0; let up too many yards to a non-Mestemaker UNT
7 LSU Tigers +8; ho lee sheet
8 Oregon Ducks -5; surely not the only Big Ten team to struggle with a horse-themed G6 school at home, right???
9 Oklahoma Sooners 0; nothing to complain about
10 Texas A&M Aggies +1; started slow but turned it on
11 Alabama Crimson Tide -1; still want to see more consistent passing
12 Ole Miss Rebels 0; what a game, secondary needs serious work
13 Texas Tech Red Raiders -5; not a fan of how close they played ACU
14 BYU Cougars -1; nothing to complain about, just a result of shifting teams around
15 USC Trojans -1; that backup defense is terrible but starters are nasty
16 Penn State Nittany Lions +3; I know it's just Marshall but they looked good
17 Utah Utes +1; nothing to complain about
18 SMU Mustangs -1; SMU and FSU vs SMU and SMU pulls it out
19 Washington Huskies +2; honestly don't like raising them but it's a rivalry so MOV can be excused
20 Virginia Cavaliers NR; BTA
21 Houston Cougars +1; maybe the new PAC12 is just feisty

Biggest riser: LSU (15->7)
22 Arizona Wildcats +1; not a fan of rising them but don't feel comfortable putting anyone below them higher

Biggest faller: Michigan (16->NR)
23 Memphis Tigers +2; still my G6 rep for now but Boise/NDSU/Western Michigan can make things interesting

Dropped out: 16 Michigan (that was essentially a loss), 24 Clemson
24 Iowa Hawkeyes NR; offense???

New to poll: 20 Virginia, 24 Iowa
25 Louisville Cardinals -5; didn't drop them out because it was a great game, Kienholz figured it out quick

Next 5: Tennessee, Missouri, UCLA, Michigan, Florida/Virginia Tech
