| CFBHurts | 1 | Clemson might be dreadful, but until we know that for certain LSU gets all the credit for annihilating what was supposed to be at least a decent opponent |

| lowes18 | 1 | Clemson is a mess, but LSU thoroughly dominated a team that has a lot more future NFL talent than most teams that played this weekend and struggled saw. Everything looked elite for LSU, they hit on their DB transfers (Benefield is a stud and could play on any defense in the country) their young defensive linemen look absolutely ready for the moment. Sam Leavitt looked like he was in 2024 form and could go out and win LSU games with his mobility and arm. The only minor concern for LSU coming out of this weekend was some pass protection issues, but given that Clemson does still have some talent on their defensive line and most of the issues came late in the game and didn't lead to any sacks or tfls I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt they can improve from game one. |

| outthawazoo | 1 | Banished Clemson to the Shadow Realm. Clemson clearly isn't the team they used to be, but this is easily the most impressive win of the season so far. |

| Xy13 | 1 | {+6} [1-0] (51-10 W vs Clemson) --- Lots of teams put up impressive scorelines against their week 1 cupcakes, but LSU absolutely dominated a top 15 talent composite Clemson so hard most people think it's over for Dabo now. Sam Leavitt didn't even have a remarkable game. They played harder and faster than pretty much every other team I saw. Their defense was suffocating and their run game was exercising it's will freely. |

| IceColdDrPepper_Here | 2 | If Sam Leavitt can stay healthy this team has the talent (NFL or otherwise) to be a championship contender. Beating Clemson like that has made me a believer that Lane could deliver something special in year 1 |

| T-Thugs | 2 | LSU totally dominated Clemson, dropping 50 points on them. I debated putting them number 1 but think beating a ranked team probably trumps blowing out a Clemson team that may not be good anymore. |

| Tarmacked | 4 | Say what you will, this is a well oiled machine and it's got talent across the board. If this wasn't year one, I would move them to #1 overall after last night. I still want to see how they fare against Ole Miss before making that move. |

| Justanother_0 | 6 | I debated not ranking these guys at all because of the whole ordeal with the NFL players, but since the players in question aren’t officially on the gameday rosters (sitting out the games), until things are settled in court I wont punish them. As for how good the team is I still think that they fall apart whenever Leavitt does but for now they have the statement win over Clemson to kickstart their resume. |

| Pyromania1983 | 7 | Was high on this team in preseason, and they performed extremely well against Clemson. Have some tests in their third and fourth games against fellow ranked teams Ole Miss and Texas A&M. That stretch will likely define their season prospects. |

| Doogitywoogity | 8 | Yeesh. For all my hatred of the NFL rejects saga I have to admit Lane Kiffin has the Tigers purring along. Last year I saw the Clemson - LSU game as a potential playoff preview. What a doofus I was! But it’s hard to see this year as anything but a death knock for Dabo and a major validation away from the distractions that Kiffin and co brought to Baton Rouge. We’ll see if this holds, but I was extremely impressed by the team at the top of my shit list rn. |

| SufferingfOrLife | 8 | ↑3 Result: (W) 51-10 Clemson I knew this team was good; they had the talent everywhere but needed to just see it once on the field, and yeah, I think they made a statement. I think you can say a lot about Lane Kiffin as a person and, well, even as a coach, but he has shown that in the portal era he can accumulate talent and put together a good team. |

| TheUltimate721 | 10 | Lane Kiffin showed off exactly why "I need NFL players on my roster to win" was the dumbest hill to die on, because LSU is already looking like a Top Ten roster under him. It wasn't a perfect debut for Lane and Sam Leavitt in Death Valley but they made Dabo Sweeney look ancient in comparison. |
