Hey_Its_Roomie 6 Okay, big controversy; why ahead of Florida? Well, despite the head-to-head factor, the displacement in rankings is more substantial. LSU's overall opponents have a stronger win percentage, larger MoV, and most other factors are a push (opponents in top 25, top 44, record) other than the head-to-head. Overall, I had to give LSU the edge.

BunnySelfDestruct 7 Quality Win: Miami (FL),  Win: Auburn, Louisiana Tech, Mississippi,  Bad Win: Southeastern Louisiana,  Quality Loss: Florida,
Charlemagne42 7 1483, -148, 1335; One thing the model's picked up on that I wholeheartedly agree with at this point is that there seems to be a massive gap between #5 and #6.After that, everyone pretty much falls out in a cluster.

Hobbes_121 7 Probably higher on LSU than most, but I still value wins over Miami and on the road in Auburn.
hokies220 7 Ah here's another example of something I hate with a team ranked right ahead of the team they just lost to. It was really close only about .4 points difference, but since I don't punish losses too much  it's really more of a testament to how far Florida jumped up.

T-Thugs 7 LSU drops a bit in my poll after losing to Florida, but they still have a bunch of quality wins, including wins over Miami (5-1), Auburn (4-2) and Ole Miss (4-2). That makes them my top 1 loss team.

Extra_Excrement 15 LSU's one loss is to Florida. You could argue that maybe LSU would win in Death Valley or at a neutral site but that would be unfair to Florida fans. LSU's win over Auburn doesn't look as great as before (even though it was at Jordan-Hare) but they still have the Miami W. Resume wise, I think they slightly edge out Florida but hey both teams have the same number of losses and UF has the head-to-head.

moistats_ 21 While the loss at Florida was heartbreaking, I do recognize that LSU's run in the beginning was not a fluke. The blowout against Miami and other notable wins caused me to let the Tigers stay in my poll. We'll see how this plays out against Georgia, and this is the perfect spot for that situation. LSU is the only team outside of Oklahoma who lost but stayed in my poll, because ONE loss can be understandable.
