NICHOLLS hang around for so long kind of raises some questions about how well Brian Kelly is getting this team prepared. Maybe losing Denbrock matters more than we thought, though it could also be the multiple NFL receivers and Heisman winning QB (I mean, Denbrock’s offense didn’t light it up this week… oof). Anyway, idk yet. We’ll see how they are.

throwaway_6786 25 LSU looked good, not great against FCS Nicholls. Considering that USC also looked great, I'm willing to hold LSU at #25, right where they were last week. The Tigers have three games to improve before they host a dangerous-looking Ole Miss. I considered Boston College, Clemson, Memphis, Nebraska, Arkansas, Tulane, Syracuse, North Carolina, South Carolina, and a few others, but none of them were quite good enough.
