I think that the results against Ole Miss last week gave me reason to doubt they will be able to compete against the Juggernauts of the conference, but I think they are going to be a team with a lot of splash still and make some noise regardless. Although I will say, Ole Miss' loss is now making me question if I should put LSU down even further

Sam Leavitt, with a plethora of talented options at both wide receiver and tight end, has been efficient and effective as a passer, and while the loss in Oxford still stings, LSU is seemingly back on the horse and still in a solid position to challenge for the SEC. A weaker schedule keeps them pinned down in 18th, however.

cyberchaox	19	Clemson has rebounded to 3-1, Texas A&M...was probably overrated but it's still a ranked win, and due to the fact that their schedule thus far has had no middle ground between "road game against a P4 team where they hung tough but ultimately didn't come close to the upset" and "home game against an FCS team where they put up 80", I can't definitively prove that Louisiana Tech WON'T run the table in the Sun Belt West and be 10-2 heading into a CCG against James Madison.

douchebagjack	21	Best 3 Wins: Texas A&M, Clemson, LA Tech Loss: Ole Miss LSU is another team I'm struggling to get a read on. There's enough talent here to make me think they could eventually be much higher, but the results haven't given me a compelling argument to put them there right now. At 21, I'm basically saying "I think LSU is good, but please show me something." SEC teams get an unusually long leash because eventually someone on their schedule is going to provide the opportunity. TA&M & Clemson are both kinda duds on the schedule, but they dominated.

_THE__BOULDER_	12	While LSU absolutely blew out TAMU, finishing 35-6 with over 500 yards of offense, I'm not entirely sure where TAMU actually falls on the table (currently off the table and out of the top 25), so I cannot say for certain how good this win will end up being. Don't get me wrong, it's good for LSU that they won, obviously, I'm just not sure yet if TAMU has collapsed and is like a 6-6 team or if they'll still end up being like 8-4 or something. They very much have 4 winnable games on the schedule in Arky, Citadel, SCAR, and Oklahoma, not to mention I think they certainly have a shot at Mizzou, but we have to see how things go. Now, back to LSU. Last week, I started to question why all this money went to Sam Leavitt to play QB when it seems like his first instinct is to tuck it and run rather than to throw, and I know I'm not the only one who had that feeling. Leavitt seems to have heard us and threw for over 300 yards on Saturday, ending up 17/23, with two TDs and one INT. It's kind of funny because I believe his staying in the pocket was necessitated by a small leg injury that impacted his mobility, but it looks like he might actually be willing to sling it and they're gonna need that from him. Jackson Harris looked great out there as well, with over 160 yards on only 6 receptions and for two TDs. This kind of passing game is what LSU needed to put together, especially after last week, and they will need to continue this passing game trend in order to really be competitive against teams like Alabama Texas, and even Tennessee, Miss State, and Kentucky who show up on their list of future opponents. While they play McNeese State this weekend, they play @ Kentucky in two weeks and, while I feel like we're still sussing out how good Kentucky is, they look to be trending in a positive direction, so I won't claim that to be an easy win for LSU.
