sgtshenanigans 18 If every defender were as skilled as Luke Wafle USC would be scary as they have a lot of young talent all over the team. However, the defense overall is nothing special and USC is going to need to be carried by Jayden Maiava however, as good as he is I don't think he has enough.

Tarmacked 21 Defense continues to look utterly horrendous at times. Offense looks competent. They're moving only 3-4 spots down this week, largely because (1) we were super negative on them to begin with, and (2) that offense will likely prop them to an 8-9 win talent team as it stands. This is pretty par with computers, (18th FPI, 22nd Sagarin) so i'm a bit more comfortable here.

TheUltimate721 25 I had half a mind to drop the Trojans out entirely but that is an embarrassing loss in almost all facets for Lincoln Riley's program. It's year 6 in LA for Lincoln Riley and he still has yet to put up even a passable defense. Their behavior around the play that injured Dante Moore was downright embarrassing for all involved. More than that they let Oregon's WRs embarrass them both in YAC and at the point of catch. Dylan Raiola didn't even need to do much against htem, just dump it off for easy completions and let Oregon's receivers do the rest. I have zero confidence in these guys to be serious challengers in the Big Ten.

This team clearly has a ton of talent but is undisciplined, I think this is going to be another year where they are competitive against teams like OSU/Indiana but they might find a way to lose games against UCLA, PSU, Washington despite pretty clearly being more talented

This team looks the same as the last few years with a good offense, disappointing defense, and discipline problems.
