Morgan Scalley still has this program rolling without missing a beat, but a slightly worse game control and a less impressive marquee win to date has me slotting them in just behind the Hurricanes. Dampier and the offense has remained potent, and that defense is as impressive as ever. I still think this team should be the favorite for the Big 12 auto-bid; they just currently lack the high-end result that teams above them have achieved, and so can't be placed any higher until then.

But they're beating the teams they're supposed to beat, the defense looks like a Utah defense, and they're not giving you any reason to drop them. At this point, I'm willing to buy in until someone makes me regret it.

_THE__BOULDER_	13	A solid 2-score win over a conference opponent to move to 4-0, and Utah has now scored 30+ points in each of its first 4 games for the first time since the 1990. A road conference win is a great way to start the season, although, while Utah covered, I couldn't help but feel like this could have been a bigger if not for some of the penalties in the second half. A bit more consistency will be necessary if they want to challenge for this conference, but I don't think they should have too much trouble until they play Houston in a few weeks.
