The Utah we saw in September looked like a potential national championship favorite, but unfortunately, they've only slipped further with every passing week. Certainly not a good sign when they're about to finally hit the real meat of their schedule: Houston this week, then Cincinnati, then BYU in a massive Holy War showdown, and a trip to Arizona to round out the four-game stretch. The Utes have been shuffling around my rankings a spot or two at a time all season, but that's about to change, either for the better or the worse.

Clearly the worst resume of the undefeated P4 teams....their best win is ?? Anyways won't put them below a 2 loss team yet.

The Utes under new head coach (and former DC) Morgan Scalley continues barreling towards a feisty Holy War with the top-ranked BYU Cougars, even if that road has been littered with slip-ups and setbacks. What looked to be a prime opportunity to handle a weaker conference opponent in the Buffalos almost ended in disaster, saved in part by their former QB not knowing how to lateral when accounting for forward momentum. It wasn't pretty, but the Utes sit at 6-0 with a game attended by College Gameday against the top-15 Houston Cougars this weekend.

Not so easy to win a night game against a post-Travis hunter Colorado is it? Your lucky Isaac Wilson’s latteral was a forward pass or else you could have been in real trouble.
