Maladroit44 15 DNP this week. I'll be honest, I don't have a whole lot to say here. It's Iowa. The offense is a little less awful than usual, but it's still Iowa. They got beaten up by the one playoff contender they've played, and they've otherwise taken care of business with close wins against Iowa State and a traditional Big Ten powerhouse that's now struggling mightily. That's, like, the most Iowa season ever, man.

The Hawkeyes were on bye this past week after manhandling the Huskies in Seattle, which is probably for the best considering the chaos that erupted all around them. Their slide in the rankings is more a byproduct of other teams putting up impressive results while they rested more than anything their own resume did, which isn't the worst thing in the world. A manageable schedule exists in front of them to take advantage of, where B1G title dreams and playoff hopes await.

I don't think they're as good as last year, and they should've lost to michigan if it wasn't for the weird penalties on michigan on that last drive and the player getting hurt giving them time to draw up a play. They're a bit weak, and I expect them to lose to nebraska later but they keep winning somehow.
