Though this only came against the MAC’s Western Michigan, who aren’t exactly worldbeaters, a 31-point victory was a pretty convincing performance for those who doubted the potency of Iowa (which was understandable after their first two games). The defense is as stout as ever, but the offense being so lackluster overall is still a sign for concern, especially as they need to travel to top 5 Penn State for their first conference game of the season. |
