LSU is looking more like the LSU we expected with a road blowout win over Miss State. Daniels played like a Heisman contender and despite getting beat up by FSU earlier, LSU is still the favorite for the SEC West.
Last Week #17 at Mississippi State : Won 41 - 14. Absolute domination. At one point the yard output was 290 to 7...in the 2nd quarter. Mississippi State has problems and LSU exploted them.
Ah, there's the LSU we thought we'd be seeing before the start of the season. MSU isn't exactly a top tier team but they seem decent enough, they beat Arizona at least. Let's see if they can keep it up now that SEC play's in full swing.
Just a victim of their record being ranked in this range. But still, a huge performance against Mississippi State and the last two weeks are a great bounceback for Daniels
I actually wasnt as high on this team as everyone else to start the season, and the loss didnt look good. Still a talented team though, and theyll have plenty more chances in the season to prove this position completely wrong.
A nice-looking win over Mississippi State, but FSU's struggles make LSU's loss against the Seminoles look worse, which keeps them at #21 and largely unable to benefit much from the chaos around them. LSU needs to find a marquee win (or a ton of chaos) soon to break back in to the Top 10-15.
