Doogitywoogity 15 This squad is still raw, still not polished, and that means they can pull some real stinkers. But, Kiffin has got a squad doing well once again, just temper this season’s expectations a bit. They’ve got at least one more inexplicable loss in them, and a tough end to their schedule. They could equally win them all or lose them all and I wouldn’t be shocked either way.

Xy13 15 Our first 1 loss team, one being an OT loss vs Kentucky. LSU still feels like one of the quickest, most explosive teams I've watched on both offense and defense. I feel their potential is still one of the highest in SEC, if they can just shore up their lows.

ChBass 17 In a world where wins and losses don’t matter, LSU could be a top-5 team. They are one of three teams with a top-10 offense and defense. But their best win against Cowbell is losing value and their losses add up.

sgtshenanigans 21 LSU has two losses which really are not that bad as far as losses go with Ole Miss and Kentucky being playoff teams in my rankings. That being said LSU like many teams this far down lacks any sort of signature win to make up for those losses. After their Bye week next week they will certainly have a chance to prove themselves against Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee.

Auburn.

Takes out Auburn, decent win. They are looking ahead at Bama, Texas, Tennessee b2b2b then Arkansas to finish with a YIKES 3 losses? 4 losses?

T-Thugs 25 LSU is probably a little underrated here if I was just guessing at how good they are, but their resume actually just isn't very good. They're 5-2 and their best wins are over Clemson (4-3), Auburn (4-3), and Mississippi State (4-3). One argument in their favor is they crushed those teams. I think they have the talent to compete with great teams. They've got a week off and then three straight chances to prove they belong higher with Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee.

Also considered for rankings: Oklahoma State, Iowa, Boise State, USC, Virginia Tech
