Overall Rationale: Have I said how much the SEC has been driving me crazy this year. Yes every single week. Well Big 12 thanks for joining the pile on. Big Ten feels like you're next. ACC thank you for being somewhat consistent.
Miami, Utah, UCLA-It's hard to be undefeated as this season shows, and it's time to give the undefeateds their due. It doesn't hurt that pretty much all of the big 1 loss teams losses are looking a little worse this week. But still Utah got that big win they needed over Houston, and UCLA's been consistent in a sport where that's nearly impossible these days.
BYU, Ohio State, Indiana, Notre Dame, Georgia. Our 5 top one loss teams. Ohio State has the best win, of the bunch, but BYU's the only one with two high quality wins. Notre Dame and Indiana remain a coin flip for me, similar quality loss but I like Indiana's wins more, while Georgia's loss looks a little bit worse while so does their signature win.
Arizona, Texas Tech, Wake Forrest, Northwestern: Dominant performance from Arizona who's blowout win over Cincinnati is looking better as well. Wake Forrest kind of benefiting from the bye week but they're still looking better than a lot of the country right now. Same with Northwestern
Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Texas Tech, Houston, Oklahoma State: Tech took a bit of a drop, I just can't really stomach a blowout loss that much even if the scoreline looked closer than the actual game was. All of these teams have decent wins, but hard to stomach losses in general. Except for Houston, but they're stuck in h2h purgatory.
Speaking of h2h purgatory and blowouts.
Florida-Missouri-Ole Miss are trapped in brutal circle of blowouts. Which makes them all kinds of diicult to rank. Texas and LSU are also in there somewhere and frankly they all just make me miserable. At least Missippi State's out of the equation. This is what I arrived at.
Wisconsin that was impressive. SMU finally taking care of business and looking comfortable in the process. Boise don't disappoint me.
