SufferingfOrLife 14 -7 Bad loss, and the offense just looks bad. Can't run the football at all, and Garrett Nussmeier hasn't impressed thus far. Defense looks great, though, which is kind of an inverse of 2023, where the defense let the offense down, and now the offense is letting the defense down.

Ole Miss' defense wasn't very good going into this game but they nearly shut down what was expected to be an elite offense helped by an elite QB. I don't know for sure where LSU ends up but I think they can be better than what they've shown so far.

_THE__BOULDER_ 13 I don't particularly like LSU this year, I think their offense is NOT good, but their defense is absolutely good enough to keep them in games and potentially give them the opportunity to win some. I don't want to rank them this high, and until they score more than 20 points on offense against an FBS team I don't know that they really have a chance at glory this year. But I don't think they deserve to drop as much as FSU or UGA did given that they played what may end up being a top 10 Ole Miss team by the end of the year.
