BendrickLamar19 21 I am a coward. They should in no way be this high, but the talent and potential of this team is so high that I can’t drop them out while being honest with myself.
ColombianInIowa24 21 34.12 - Honestly shocked above Ole Miss. 4-1-1, with a better loss does do some explaining, but... I don't like it. I hope they get crushed against, up next, Mississippi State!

galacticdude7 21 Predicted Record: 7-5

Losses: at Ole Miss (24-32), at Kentucky (34-35), Alabama, Texas, at Tennessee

Comment: I think this is the first time since I've been doing this Predicted Record justification where a team I think will go 7-5 gets ranked, but I really struggled to justify at least 4 more teams ahead of them, so here we are.

Maladroit44 24 Speaking of LSU, yeah, it turns out ranking them in the top ten was premature. Who could've guessed? It's not like this happened last season, or the season before that, or the season before that, or the season before that...oh, wait. The Tigers at least have a decent chance to win their next two (vs Mississippi State, at Auburn) before they face Alabama and Texas in back-to-back weeks at the start of November. You might ask while I have them ranked at all, but I do feel that narrow losses against two low-ranked top 25 teams on the road suggest LSU is another, slightly lower-ranked top 25 team. They're just not anything more.

smartkeg 25 Have beaten P4 teams convincingly, but clearly not elite, as evidenced by 2 road losses to Kentucky and Ole Miss.
Striker743 25 Down 2 - two close road losses at #19 and #24, they have otherwise blown out every other team including two decent P5

Isthmus11 15 4-2, close loss to a Kentucky team that I believe is much improved from previous years but even still with how much this coach and roster costs this is a game that they simply cannot be losing. This team is really talented but they are borderline out of the playoffs already with MSST, Bama, Texas still to play and the wheels might fall off in Baton Rouge by the end of this season. Lane Kiffin might be the most unlikable coach in the FBS which is hilarious since the guy who held that title previously was clearly Brian Kelly

KevinDoesSports 16 A big loss to Kentucky. I don't think any Top 15 team can have two losses, so I put LSU here. LSU still looks pretty good and maybe Kentucky was just a little slept on.
FrontRunner51 17 (-6) Weird team. Wouldn't argue with anyone leaving them out of top 25. For now I'm still recognizing their dominant wins over not terrible teams, and close losses to two top 25 teams.
