DampFrijoles Ballot for 2026 Week 7

Overall Rationale: I use a mix of human and computer polls and Strength of Record to come up with a base rating; the rating weighs computer polls at .5%, human polls at .4%, at SOR at .1%. I then use various statistics for my own "eye test" to adjust from there.

I use the following human polls: AP, Coaches, FCS Coaches, and FCS Stats. I use the following computer polls: Bakony Algo, Congrove, Dokter Entropy, Massey, Round Robin Win %, Sagarin, and Whitlock. I use Sagarin's Strength of Record for the SOR component.

Additional ranking notes:

1) a team must be ranked by at least one human poll to be factored into the rankings

2) any FBS team with two or fewer losses than another FBS team will not be ranked below the more losing team (e.g., a 5-0 team will not be ranked below a 3-2 team); this does not apply to FCS teams

3) the top five teams in the FCS Coaches, and FCS Stats polls factor into the rankings

4) I consider Western Michigan to have defeated Michigan if either team factors into the rankings
