Jakesnake42 17 I mean....that was one of the worst offensive performances of all time...good thing that's the backup...wins over Boise St and USC are still eons better than what these teams behind them have. So ranked they stay much to my chagrin. Last Week: #12

HieloLuz 20 I'm keeping Oregon ranked for now, and they're going to get the longest explanation of anyone. They are 2-2 against FBS teams, with all 4 games coming against teams in the AP top 25. Those teams are 18-1 outside of their games against Oregon.

UCLA and Oklahoma State are clearly functional teams that will be making playoff noise late into the season, and their wins over USC and Boise State are quality ones and among the best of any team. They have yet another good team coming to town this week with Nebraska, which will tell us a lot about both teams.

Maladroit44 21 On the other side of the 17-15 slugfest that I'm surprised people are taking so seriously is Oregon, who a lot of folks are now ready to declare dead in the water. I get it—they looked horrible in this game—but I don't think it needs to be said that the Ducks are a vastly different team when Dante Moore is healthy. That's not inherently a great credit to Moore or anything; it's more that Dylan Raiola just had maybe the worst performance by any QB, in any game, in the last few years. UCLA defenders averaged more yards on his intercepted passes (3.0) than Oregon receivers did on his completed ones (2.3). It's unclear if/when Moore will be back, but I have to believe the Ducks will find *some* solution better than just throwing Raiola out there again.

budget_um 23 This is an odd team that's taking its lumps. USC win and Oklahoma State's high ranking cover a multitude of sins

MainPeanut25 23 That’s the Dylan Raiola from Nebraska
ManiacalBlazer 23 74.191, (3-2). Schedule so far is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. Hard to predict what you're going to get each week, injuries or not.

StFuzzySlippers 23 By my reckoning, they have two ranked wins and two ranked losses. That probably makes them the strongest two-loss team right now. Playing with their backup QB probably didn't help them this week either.

Tarmacked 23 So… realistically this Oregon team with six turnovers and Raiola doing his best UDFA approach… almost won that game.

I think this Oregon team is much better than we’re giving it credit for but also… this feels like a 15-20 team at best with the inconsistent play.

smartkeg 24 An inconsistent team that has good wins vs USC and Boise St, but poor performance in 2 losses. The strength of their wins keeps them in the Top 25.

KevinDoesSports 17 A big win against USC, a big loss against UCLA. I think the Dante Moore injury is really starting to show its damage to this team. Two losses already isn't great, Oregon needs to win against Nebraska. They still do have win against USC and Boise State, which is definitely saying something, as they probably have had one of the hardest schedules up to this point.

ResearchFlaky5912 21 I move Oregon up 2 after a loss because they outperformed my expectations against a UCLA team I am very high on. Further, both OKST and USC enter the rankings today, strengthening their best win and minimizing their only loss.
