Tarmacked 9 Okay… so this Kentucky team may actually be very good and Oregon definitely misses Stein
Zef_Apollo 9 Underrated right now. I think they have the offensive and defensive pieces to really be a good team this year. I doubt they finish in the top 10 but thye've got some impressive SEC wins and one of the few teams in the country with a ranked win and 1 or fewer losses.

smartkeg 12 The LSU win plus the overtime comeback against South Carolina give Kentucky two excellent recent results. Have liked this team since their performance against Bama and I think they're improving as the season goes on.

Big win over LSU. Kentucky looking good good at the moment
tier 2b/3a: idk if these teams are CFB teams or best or the rest teams, all SEC teams so someone is in each spot. MSST > Mizzou in H2H, MSST/UK better losses (Bama) > Mizzou, Ole Miss (MSST, UF). Then MSST has the Missouri win, which feels better than Kentucky's LSU, but so close. Missouri over Ole Miss, since Mizzou beat Florida who beat Ole Miss, splitting hairs.

Justanother_0 13 The LSU win gives some legitimacy to Kentucky's placement in the mid 10's. Who knows, maybe they'll be able to push even further up the list...

TheUltimate721 16 Kentucky is pretty indicative of the middle-class of the SEC this year in that I think they are pretty good, but not quite as good as everyone thinks they are. I don't have much faith against Kentucky to be able to hang on with the big dogs of the conference thanks to their performance against Alabama, but I could see them finishing 9-3 easily.

Maladroit44 23 I'm not sure what it is about this fanbase in particular—maybe all the basketball success warps their perceptions a bit?—but Kentucky fans seem kinda comically overconfident right now. I saw hordes of them crying out in protest that a last-play-of-the-game win over god-awful South Carolina dropped them from #24 to #26, and now a lot of them seem mad that they're only up to #15 for another last-play-of-the-game win over an LSU team that might not even be good. I get that this success is exciting, I do! But I also think when you have a 45-17 loss on your resume and a single somewhat impressive win, you ought to have a little more perspective.

Isthmus11 13 5-1, hilarious to me that LSU played this team as tight as SCaR did last week. Kentucky deserves a lot of credit for finding ways to win these games but I do not think this team is talented enough to maintain this ranking through SEC play

ResearchFlaky5912 13 Back-to-back wins in overtime against decent SEC teams. Kentucky's single loss looks better also. Another ranking where I felt vindicated having them much higher on the poll than AP or the rest of r/CFB and seeing them pull off the win (see UCLA also).

MyAngelMiraidon 20 (+16) - They were basically one off the next 10 in my list last week. At this point being 5-1 and beating LSU, it's seems like enough to convince me that their struggle over South Carolina was the fluke and not beating Texas A&M earlier
ninjatown23 20 The overtime win over LSU has me believing in the Wildcats. Their only loss is against a top-10 Alabama team. UK is easily deserving of a top 25 spot.

_THE__BOULDER_ 21 Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in. I had dropped Kentucky from last week's rankings after the close win in OT over SCAR. Now they beat LSU at home in an OT win by converting a 2 pointer where LSU only went for 1. Well done Wildcats. Putting you back in the rankings to enjoy your time in the Sun.

KevinDoesSports 24 Back to back 35-34 wins. First time since overtime was invented since 1996 that a team has won back to back games by a point. Kentucky kept it close for a half with a really good Alabama team. While they did almost lose to South Carolina, I think that South Carolina is better than people think. A big win against LSU, Kentucky should be ranked.
mathmanhale 24
Nath0leon 24 Same. Despite beating LSU, Kentucky's FPI and SOR both dropped a point (SOR went from #4 to #5). AVGWP remains low (#56), which I guess is expected from back-to-back OT wins by going for two.
