National-Sundae9427 Ballot for 2026 Week 7

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 11, 2026, 9:24 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Georgia Bulldogs Should be obvious. Best win up to this point against Bama
Miami Hurricanes One of three teams to me that are complete. All 3 are in my top 3. Really no weaknesses, even if they have played an iffy schedule.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Just like Miami, they haven’t really been tested yet. This week will be their first test
UCLA Bruins Not really who they beat, but how they’ve won. They beat UMD by 51, something that Ohio State couldn’t come close to. Oregon looked bad against them. Maybe the most underrated team
Indiana Hoosiers Very good win against Nebraska. They’ve been squeaking out B10 wins, which doesn’t look good but a win is a win.
Utah Utes Another severely underrated team in my opinion. They’ve been beating their opponents handily. From my POV, if you are playing below average teams, dominance is most important and Utah has been.
Alabama Crimson Tide Playing Georgia that close means that they are for real. In my opinion. They don’t deserve to be any higher due to the previous 5 being undefeated and the more dominant in their games
Ohio State Buckeyes I was disappointed in them this week. I was expecting a similar result that UCLA got against a dumpster fire but they couldn’t pull it off. That and the 4th quarter collapse against Texas makes me suspect of them
BYU Cougars They confuse me. One hand I think they are really good, hence the ranking. But the other hand I’m saying “7 point win against TCU? 2 TD win over an average Iowa State?” Because of that I’m ranking them below 1-loss Bama and Ohio State.
Iowa Hawkeyes Truthfully this might just be me thinking Iowa is better than they are, but I really believe that this is one of the best defenses and a much improved, more modern offenses. They have a friendly schedule coming up so they very well could be in the mix come playoff time.
Texas Tech Red Raiders I think they are overrated, even in my poll, but they haven’t shown me any reason to drop them yet. Certainly aren’t the best team in the conference, and they aren’t as good as they were last year.
Ole Miss Rebels If it wasn’t for Chambliss, I think this team would be horrendous. They have really good players mixed in around the team, but they rely so heavily on him. He’s saving them
Oklahoma State Cowboys That Oregon win is either not a great win or Oklahoma State is that good. Their defense hasn’t been great but you don’t need to be when your offense can put up points.
Kentucky Wildcats Wild time to be a Wildcat. Like I said with Indiana, a win is a win. They are beating teams I didn’t think they would and that’s why they deserve to be ranked here.
Texas Longhorns Outside of one quarter this season, Texas looks about as good as Oregon. Only difference is Oregon played a tougher OOC schedule. They really should be outside the top 25 but Ohio State felt like choking.
Mississippi State Bulldogs Honestly, I feel like this is just a lesser version of Ole Miss. Kamario is carrying this team on his back and the players around him aren’t as good.
Missouri Tigers Texas A&M wasn’t very good to begin with, but holding them to 6 points is impressive.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons Maybe the 2nd best team in the ACC?
USC Trojans I mean Penn State sucks (yes I hate that school with a passion), but they seem to have righted the ship after the Oregon loss. Still won’t be a playoff team
Houston Cougars A field goal away from being undefeated. This Oklahoma State game is going to be massive
Northwestern Wildcats That performance against Indiana is showing to be good, even with the loss.
Arizona Wildcats
Baylor Bears
Boise State Broncos
James Madison Dukes
