Maladroit44 12 Well, Eric Morris has passed the all-important Mike Gundy test: do you inexplicably lose a winnable game in favorable conditions against a bad team when the program's momentum is at its peak? It was a bit touch-and-go, but the answer is a fairly emphatic no, as the Cowboys put away UCF with a 21-7 second half to secure their fourth win, as many as they had in the previous two years combined. Next up is the biggest test of OSU's Big 12 contender status between now and mid-November: a trip to Houston, which is fresh off a dominant win over K-State. I'm excited, and kinda nervous, but getting me to feel this number of emotions about Cowboy football is an undeniable improvement over the end of the Gundy era.

Lefunnymaymays4lief 13 (+2) Speaking of aberrations… yeah we’re entering “How the fuck did they lose to Tulsa?” territory. More questions that must be asked include “How the fuck did Mestemaker never start at QB in high school?” and “How does that high school coach still have a job?” because he is looking well on his way to either save a decrepit NFL franchise or cost a GM his job. Offensively they are SO fun to watch

T-Thugs 16 Oklahoma state is 5-1 with a nice win over Oregon (4-2). Also has wins over West Virginia (3-3) and UCF (3-3). Pretty bad loss to Tulsa that doesn't make much sense.

1 Losses: Tulsa.
Tulsa lose looms very large. I think this team is more like the one who beat Oregon, not the one that lost to Tulsa. Let's see as they traverse the Big XII
tier 3b: 1-loss teams with a loss to a top team, but haven't beat anyone good yet. Iowa beat Michigan, most legit win besides oregon, lost to ohio st most legit loss. wake beat louisville, but lost to miami, etc etc

sgtshenanigans 25 I still think the AP and the Reddit poll is over rating OK state. The loss to Tulsa looks worse after Tulsa loses again this week. And the win against Oregon looks worse after they take their second loss. However, the Cowboys win their 4th in a row and benefit from all the chaos in front of them.
tks231 25
twitter_paulbd 25 One-Loss N2. Only loss was a Week 1 loss to Tulsa.

d1sportsball 13 Oklahoma State has been dominating in their wins this year, looking like the best team in the Big 12. But that loss to Tulsa hurts them a ton. If they had beaten Tulsa like Tulsa beat them, they'd probably be #3 this week behind Miami.

National-Sundae9427 13 That Oregon win is either not a great win or Oklahoma State is that good. Their defense hasn’t been great but you don’t need to be when your offense can put up points.

_THE__BOULDER_ 16 This game was close until it wasn't. A 1 score game until the 4th quarter UCF fumble that was returned for a TD and OK State was able to put it out of reach. UCF has put up decent showings against other good teams like Houston, so I am not surprised they did so here. Good work by OKST to meet the challenge. Mestemaker has 304 yards on 19/28 and 2TDs. Hawkins and Bowick also had some good showings, with Bowick achieving 98 yards and 1 TD on 6 receptions.

Isthmus11 19 4-1, I have not been able to get over that Tulsa loss and it might be funny to finally rank this team as I also unrank Oregon who is still clearly their best win, but they have looked really solid through B12 play so far and Mestemaker looks like a real deal R1 NFL prospect at QB. I do not think the rest of the team is talented enough to win games against other top B12 teams but I would be happy to be wrong
