hokies220 3 I think Tulsa is a better win than OU > UTEP even though both were utterly dominant.

Extra_Excrement 6 I, as well as many other r/cfb users, am high on OkSt this season. Mason Rudolph will put up big numbers (partly because he's good and partly because of Big-12 defense). Their game against Oklahoma will decide the best of the Big-12 as both teams are likely to be undefeated in conference at that point.
JCiLee 6
Jpkun 6 Oklahoma State delivered a strong offensive performance as expected against a pretty good team. Their defense is probably not as stout as the other teams in my top 10, but pure offensive firepower will likely keep them in the game against any of the other teams they face.
Luriker 6
Mario_Speedwagon 6 6-10 is just a giant guess at this point. I don't even know.

BosskOnASegway 7 I didn't watch this game too closely, but OkState did what they were supposed to and outside one questionable quarter (2nd) did so in commanding fashion.

Arsenal7X 9 This might be the best offense in the country. I don't really have anything to add to this because while this game was going on I was busy stressing about why Ohio State was losing to Indiana.
bakonydraco 9
beerslingerjay 9 The offense looks to be everything we all expected. Hopefully, a streaky defense will be enough to take at least some of the strain off the offense.

jmac_21 9 Oklahoma State did Oklahoma State type things. They really have a knack for throwing the deep ball. If you put any of their receivers in 1on1 coverage they will make you pay.

Nathanael-Greene 9 Though their were some issues while playing against Tulsa, the Oklahoma State Cowboys managed to win the game with a double-digit differential and move up one rank further into the Top 10, coming in at #9 in my poll.

BabyBladder 10 Offense looks elite, defense looks extremely questionable as expected. Rounds out the top 10.Notable top 10 exclusions compared to AP/coaches: USC, Washington, and Wisconsin. None of these 3 had good enough performances in their openers to warrant a top 10 for various reasons.

Khavanon 12 (-1) 59-24 over Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane finished with 10 wins last season. Also dropped one because of Michigan.

Bill3ffinMurray 13 So it looks like I undervalued Oklahoma State to start the year, and chances are I'll be undervaluing them in this poll as well. My "problem" with Oklahoma State lies in the fact that they don't play defense and just hope they can outscore their opponents; most of the time they can. I don't think that's sustainable, so despite a 59-24 win against Tulsa, I'm placing the Pokes behind Michigan, Wisconsin, and LSU because those three teams play much better defense than Oklahoma State.

GilBrandt 13 I still believe in OSU as a top 10 team (slight homerism), but their win wasn't as dominant as some above teams. Just outside of the top 10 which I feel is fair for now. Their offense definitely looks dangerous this year.

CarbonCamaroZL1 14 OK State came out with a quick 3 TDs. The 2nd quarter showed that OK State's defense still needs work. However, they held off for a big win.
justsaynotoreddit 14 (+3) Blew out a Tulsa team who got 10 wins last year.

Ticklebump 14 Scored lots of points. Had a chunk scored on them. They scored more though.

corundum9 15 Offense is explosive but some of Rudolph's passes were a bit wonky. Looked like he was having a tough time leading his receivers on the moderate and longer routes. The secondary is inexperienced and probably the limiting factor to Oklahoma State's season. Going to need to see some significant improvement from the CBs before bumping the Cowboys up near the top ten, especially with the potent offenses OK St will face in the Big 12, namely West Virginia and Oklahoma.

WhiteBaseCoat 15 Mason Rudolph throws such a pretty ball. It's gorgeous. It's just so good. I could watch it for hours on end. Their defense... don't worry about their defense. Just look at that spiral Rudolph throws. Just look at it. It's so gentle, so thoughtful, so thoroughly made with love, as if he's trying to safely toss a newborn baby forty yards through the air. I bet that beautiful S.O.B. could do it, too.

stripes361 19 Mason Rudolph was sharp in this week's opener against Tulsa, completing 20 of 24 passes for over 300 yards. If the defense can tighten up, this team has a real chance of making a run at a conference title. They play 5 of their 9 games at home, and get to face Oklahoma, TCU, and Kansas State in Stillwater.
T-Thugs 19 Scored 59 on Tulsa. Likely will drop next week since they play Southern Alabama but they'll get a chance to move up again after that.
