I wish I could only rank 17. The gulf between 17 and 18 is so great that Moses could not part it. Oklahoma State and Wake deserve to be punished more, but there is no rankable team behind them who deserves to take their place.

Oklahoma State provided the most embarrassing loss of this weekend and arguably this season. This team is very good, that’s not up for debate. However they didn’t look anything like it against Kansas State as their defense was shat all over, their offense couldn’t move the ball, and Gundy was just flat out coached. This loss definitely takes them out of playoff contention and likely Big 12 contention too.

Umm I have no idea what happened here. I considered dropping them from my top-25 entirely. After all, it is hard to claim a team that got blanked 48-0 is a top-25 anything (I'm an OU fan-- ask me how I know). However, they also benefited from the fact that a bunch of other teams in this 15-25 tier lost. I think they're better than this, I really do. And I am waiting for the game in which their defensive line absolutely takes over. However, they seem like a team on the decline at the moment and are struggling with a ton of injuries (which is kind of ok timing for me as, again, I am an OU fan).

Computer portion has them higher. 48-0 loss never looks good, but I’m willing to say this was a very big outlier. If they look like crap, they might continue to drop

Uhmmm, I have no words. I just think Oklahoma State’s win over Texas is better than any win NC State has. I’m still not confident this team even deserves to be in the top 25 after that performance tho. They’re honestly just here now since they’re still 6-2.
