Maladroit44 21 Ahhhh, *there's* the traditional Oklahoma State letdown win right when you started to believe anything was possible. The Cowboys could've had this one about a dozen different ways—better defense, better red-zone play, better third downs, fewer penalties, no baffling interception from Mestemaker, any real rushing game, and so on and so forth. That the result was still just a three-point loss to a ranked team on the road says something about what OSU still managed to do right...but it also means they have no margin for error left. Only two really tough opponents (KSU and TTU) remain, but the Pokes can't afford a loss to either—or to anyone else—if they want to stay in the conference title race.

Not a good loss for the Cowboys. Needed that for conference play. Hopefully they rebound
GeauxTri 24 4-2; major win over Oregon; close road loss at Houston is relatively forgivable.

_THE__BOULDER_ 20 Now 4-2 with an inexplicable loss to Tulsa and a loss in a tight game @ Houston, I think it's worth overlooking the Tulsa game somewhat given how they've played since. Obviously, by record, they have one of the worst losses in the P4, and that is hard to overlook. But I don't think it's worth dropping them out of the rankings yet. I am generally a subscriber to the idea that losing close on the road to an opponent ranked higher than you is not grounds to move you very far. Last week, I had Houston at 14, OKST at 16. If this loss were in a vacuum, I'd probably have only dropped OKST to 17 or 18. However, it is their second loss, which, especially when you consider who that first loss was to, pushes them down a tad farther than 1-2 spots for me.

KevinDoesSports 22 Oklahoma State's second loss of the year came to a fellow ranked Big 12 opponent. OKSU is still a good team, but they need some convincing wins in the next couple weeks.

tbraptors 25 Oklahoma St stays ranked because they beat Oregon, who beat Boise St and USC, meaning Oklahoma St must be ranked above those 3. The only other team I considered for this spot was JMU, but their schedule is seriously lacking.
