Justanother_0 18 Jimmy Haslam is gonna break into the war room like The Undertaker on draft day and force Andrew Barry to draft Manning with the Browns' first round pick. That should tell you how ass and overrated Arch has been this year.

On a more serious note, Texas' playoff hopes are on the ropes now. While the Longhorns are still talented, playcalling and mistakes down the stretch have been this team's undoing.

sgtshenanigans 22 For a second year in a row Texas's playoff hopes are in danger thanks to a perplexing loss to Florida. HUGE matchup next week at home against Ole miss. Wins against Ohio State and Tennessee are keeping Texas ranked but losing to Oklahoma and Florida are back breakers. Arch Manning only had 173 yards of passing that is simply inexcusable with all the weapons Texas has on offense.

Xy13 23 Manning. Idk. Are the expectations too high because of his name? Is he doing decent but not living up to Heisman hope? Is he terrible but just sticking around because of his name? It's hard to say. He is an enigma. Strictly speaking looking at his stats, Texas isn't really winning because of him, or losing because of him. Though he has had a few last drive interceptions on the season now.

Lefunnymaymays4lief 24 (-15) That now makes two botched developments of cream of the crop QB recruits in a row for Sark. And with the overall talent on this roster? If they lose one more game and find themselves on the outside looking in, he should be done. Currently looking like the Jimbo Fisher of Brian Kellys. OSU win is carrying them HARD because otherwise they’ve looked worse than pedestrian since

tbraptors 8 I was shocked when I put together this top 25 and Texas didn't drop out of the top 10. However, instead of their two bad losses moving them down, it instead devalued the SEC. Texas, outside of their great win against Ohio St, beat Tennessee. Tennessee has a slightly better resume than Georgia, who beat Alabama, meaning Texas must be ranked over Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and the rest of the SEC. This won't hold if their free fall continues (which I expect it will) but for the time being they stay at #8.
Impossible-Still-349 9
LookAtMaxwell 9 3rd–23rd in 8 of 10 brackets
Texas has head-to-head wins over Ohio State and Tennessee, which give it 43 rule wins, including Alabama, Indiana and Northwestern. Its two 3-point losses, to Oklahoma and Florida, chain into 9 rule losses, the most in the top 10. Its 3rd–23rd range is the widest in the top 10.
thatoneguyD13 9 Tier 3. Possibly toughest schedule in country so far and are 5-2. Wins over #3 and #5 but losses to #25 and an unranked team.

ResearchFlaky5912 15 While this may seem high for a team that has struggled so much, it would be foolish to forget that they beat both #3 and #6. Wins-wise, that's the best resume in the country. Unfortunately, they have two rough losses, holding them back. But I do not think some precipitous fall is warranted given their huge wins.

GrimmacingGrinny 17 Texas is so difficult to evaluate. 2 wins over top ranked teams, and 2 losses to teams that were unranked. Their wins over Ohio State and Tennessee continue to look great. But their loss to Oklahoma looks even worse, and with loosing to Florida the team has little to no margin for error moving forward.

MyAngelMiraidon 18 -9 - We now begin the circus of 2 loss SEC teams. Texas' losses though are both very close (even though both teams are not top 25), they still have Ohio State and Tennessee, and even UTSA is arguably a ranked win. Now if they stay top 25 with the rest of their schedule is another question.

quantum_jedi 20 (54.34, -10) This team has so many issues it's hard to know what to address, but the common thread certainly does seem to be Sark. Is this Texas' ceiling? The epic comeback win in Week 2 certainly seems to be more like an aberration the farther we progress. Can the Longhorns find that magic again? They might get a week of subversion as an injury-devastated Mississippi State comes to Austin.

_THE__BOULDER_ 24 Two losses in a row for the Texas Longhorns. I still think this team is a top 25 team, although I certainly dropped other teams other teams for 2 losses. Texas's wins vs OSU and Tenn are what are propping this team up - obviously these are good wins - but I'm not sure how Texas plans to bounce back. They have a tough game this weekend as they host Ole Miss. Ole Miss has been exposed before, but they have also played and beaten some good competition. If Texas's QB woes continue, they could be in real trouble as their next 4 games have obvious danger potential. Ole Miss, followed by Miss St, Mizzou, and LSU, in that order. Miss St's danger potential depends on the health of their team, as they were without their 3 best players against LSU this past weekend, and Mizzou needs to bounce back from a thrashing by Ole Miss, but being wounded doesn't mean they're not dangerous. Very curious to see what happens to this former #1 Team.
