Hey_Its_Roomie Ballot for 2026 Week 8

Overall Rationale: Following week 7, the average number of games played against top 27 (~80th percentile) is now over 1. As a result, SoS, SoWS, and wins over ranked teams now account for games and wins against teams in the top 27.

Last week, my schedule was heavily favoring SoS and SoWS to the point that losses were not affecting Texas and Alabama to any noticeable degree. It should be noted that their general strength of schedule is rather strong under this spreadsheet. Of Alabama's 7 games, 5 are in the top 45, with 4 of the 5 being in the top 27. Texas boasts a similar strength currently 5 of their 6, and 4 of those 5 in a similar manner.

One issue I did realize reviewing my spreadsheet (because I disliked the results) was teams were double-dipping on wins against teams with records at or over .500. This probably gave an over-emphasis for Texas and Alabama specifically more than other teams, hence their overrated positions.
