| Justanother_0 | 4 | Given that Kewan Lacy was out for the Florida game and that the Rebels have been handling business ever since his return, I am willing to give some benefit of the doubt to Ole Miss. The SEC has suddenly become theirs to take outright with Georgia stumbling in spectacular fashion. |

Ole Miss continues to support my theory that the UF loss was an abberation by absolutely throttling Missouri, a team that has yet to recieve such a loss and has posted some impressive wins over the past 2 weeks. Furthermore, in light of the obscene amount of chaos this weekend, I'm starting to favor the ceiling of teams a bit more. I.E. Ole Miss's impressive wins lift them higher than some undefeated teams. |

Florida moving back in helps that loss out, and obviously the best *performance* (not "win", I guess) of the weekend. Worthy to jump some of the other one losses if we're factoring in recency at all (which I tend to do about 1/3). |

| sgtshenanigans | 6 | Ole miss trounces what I think is a pretty good Missouri team. Their win this week cements my thought that their loss against Florida was more of a talented team catching a higher ranked team at home after an emotional win rather than some proof that Ole Miss is not good. Is Ole Miss the best team in the SEC I think it's still a bit too early to tell but I do think they are a solid contender for a playoff spot. They get a chance to officially end Texas's playoff hopes next week. |

Trinidad Chambliss continues looking like the best QB in the country, and the return of Kewan Lacy to the lineup only boosted their attack to dangerous levels. Now, if only they can go back in time and remember what rushing defense was for the Florida game... |

| Maladroit44 | 14 | The SEC picture continues to bemuse. I'm hesitant to believe in Ole Miss after two close wins and a blowout loss in their first three P4 games—none of which were against teams I currently have ranked above #23—but they still only have one loss, and they looked pretty dominant out there against Mizzou. At least this is an SEC team we still have more to learn about: they go to Texas this week, then return home for games against Auburn and Georgia. Win two of those three and we can probably feel comfortable forecasting them as a playoff team; lose two of three and I think they should be out, at least in a just world. |

That being said, they also have some key wins in beating LSU, Missouri and an ok Louisville team. The overall strength of their wins pushes them up the board. |
Soundly beating Missouri, Ole Miss completed the circle of confusion between them and Florida. As their lone loss was to Florida and by a not insignificant margin. That being said, they also have some key wins in beating LSU, Missouri and an ok Louisville team. The overall strength of their wins pushes them up the board. |

| _THE__BOULDER_ | 9 | Absolutely blew out Mizzou's back. I had been pretty positive on Mizzou after they dealt with UF and TAMU handily, as that offense looked to be flying high and I was very sure that Ole Miss's defense would not be able to handle it. But handle it they did. Mizzou had 39 total rushing yards and no TDs despite 339 passing yards - Austin Simmons threw an interception though. The Rebels only forced one turnover, however, which is pretty crazy given the score disparity. Instead, they allowed a FG early, Mizzou missed a FG in Q2, and then proceeded to never get close to the endzone again. Did not expect this performance but it was a welcome sight. |

Ole Miss was coming off of a highly emotional game the prior week. Rewarded for dominating a rival while other teams fall out in front of them. Also, wins over #14 and #20. |
