Ballot Type: Human

Overall Rationale: That was the best day ever. I am screwed trying to come up with a ranking now.
| Rank | Team | Reason |

BYU Cougars
|
If you had told me last week that I’d have BYU ranked number one, idve called you crazy and said “what did texas, Georgia, Alabama, and ND all lose and Miami have the refs bail them out twice vs a horrible FSU?” Turns out, yeah. Yeah that’s what happened. Huh. Nov 7 is looking like must watch tv. |
| 2 |
Miami Hurricanes
|
Listen Miami, there are times where yall look legit and like real contenders, and there’s allot of other times where you look like you’re incredibly lucky to have a schedule where your only test so far has been Wake. Keep winning and you’ll probably be fine but good lord the amount the refs bailed you out vs FSU is embarrassing for a top tier team. Pitt has died so unless you get lost in Belichick’s man boobs ND is all you’ve got left. |
| 3 |
Texas Tech Red Raiders
|
Tech finally put together a performance I expect out of them. Cincinnati will be your hardest game since Houston followed up by a tough AZ. Better get to running smoothly on all cylinders. |
| 4 |
UCLA Bruins
|
Beating a good but not great Oregon followed up by a resurgent Wisconsin looks nice. If this squad continues to cruise USC may be their only challenge all season. I know West coast football better than to think that though, but for now enjoy the top spot in the B1G. |
| 5 |
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
|
Painful loss, you can talk about officiating but I’ll be honest it’s way less egregious than the Miami - FSU issues. BYU nearly collapsed the stadium cheering the refs had to just make it out alive. If you can beat Miami and the somehow still alive SMU, you can still stay ranked enough to get in. If you lose either though you’re gonna drop like a stone. |
| 6 |
Ohio State Buckeyes
|
Big win, so now we have to decide, what the hell happened vs texas. Really it’s typical of Ryan Day, so not that shocking. But how will this team do without their golden boy now that he’s beat up? Schedule isn’t getting easy. |
| 7 |
Georgia Bulldogs
|
Brother. Auburn? Listen, Georgia, I hate you as much as the next Gator, but Auburn? Really? What your players were distracted by Elon’s new flying/sucking car? Think of the traffic violations. |
| 8 |
Utah Utes
|
The good news is you’re undefeated. That’s all. Colorado. A flag away from OT with Colorado. I can’t believe I stayed up for that. Get yourself together though, Houston, Cincinnati, BYU (!), and AZ as your next stretch is gonna be hard. |
| 9 |
Ole Miss Rebels
|
Dominant win over Mizzou that nobody is going to remember or talk about. That must suck. You have the opportunity to go fully kill texas though. Please for my Aggie soul vanquish them. |
| 10 |
Indiana Hoosiers
|
Sure the loss stings, just inches from winning, but that’s how it goes, you should still be one of the biggest contenders for the B1G title, just focus on Michigan. If WMU can do it so can you. |
| 11 |
Kentucky Wildcats
|
What kind of sick sadistic football God gave Kentucky the sauce this year? In a week of turmoil I’m going to overlook how close most of that game was. Don’t get caught looking ahead to Tennessee when you’ve got Vandy left. |
| 12 |
Northwestern Wildcats
|
Close one vs your old coach and the breakup surely didn’t motivate him at all. Go destroy Rutgers next week and move on. You have a tough end to the schedule. |
| 13 |
Houston Cougars
|
Big win over OK St, wish I had gotten to see it looks like Weigman balled out. Even bigger matchup vs Utah now. Go and prove you belong. |
| 14 |
Iowa Hawkeyes
|
Slept through a five alarm fire. |
| 15 |
Arizona Wildcats
|
💥😴🔥😴🚒😴 |
| 16 |
Wake Forest Demon Deacons
|
I was worried traveling all the way to Berkeley would mess up the Demon Deacons. But Cal is so beat up and Wake is decently good that it was not a contest. Don’t look now but we might get a second Wake in the ACCCG. |
| 17 |
USC Trojans
|
Another team that benefits from sleeping through the carnage. |
| 18 |
Tennessee Volunteers
|
I did not expect the Vols to pull a W. Certainly not by any margin. I’ll admit, I’d have preferred if you both lost that game, but Tennessee has snuck their way into the top 3 in the SEC. |
| 19 |
James Madison Dukes
|
The Dukes more than took care of business as Sun Belt Billy reigns supreme once more. I’m quite excited to see them in the American once they’ve moved over, though I do love the Sun belt. |
| 20 |
LSU Tigers
|
If the Tigers beat an injured MS St in a Forest, but everyone else is too busy watching everything else getting blown up, did it really happen? I’m not sure I like ranking the Tigers again but everyone else is kind of forcing my hand. I don’t take much away from beating the hamstrung MS St, but here we are. |
| 21 |
Alabama Crimson Tide
|
Are Alabama and Georgia just that beat up after slamming one another into pavement repeatedly for three hours last week? Probably. |
| 22 |
SMU Mustangs
|
They keep getting away with it. I do not think this team is good but they keep getting away with not losing. This is their first win that I’ve at all been like “huh nice” for and it’s against a Virginia who has been plummeting lately. Wake and ND loom large. |
| 23 |
Oregon State Beavers
|
Secretly the most fun team to watch this year? Only losses in close ones vs TTU and UH who both look solid? Maybe this squad can make some noise. |
| 24 |
UTSA Roadrunners
|
Meep meep motherfuckers. UTSA stands alone atop the American, and look to only have FAU and UNT left to stop them. They could make a run to be the G6 rep. |
| 25 |
Florida Gators
|
I’m not sure I should be ranking yall, as I know all too well how many ways yall can find to lose a game. But what’s my alternatives? The texas squad you just beat? A demolished MS St? Mizzou who beat this squad but who just got destroyed by Ole Miss who lost by a gillion to this squad? Bill Belichick and his big ole man tiddies? Auburn?! Oregon? OK State? Who fucking knows man. |
